The Rainband

The Rainband were formed at the end of 2009 between two good friends who’s real common ground was that of music. Phil Rainey (Keyboards, Lead Guitar, Vocals, Programming and Production) made his name sessioning on guitar with Monaco in 2000, Peter Hook’s side project from New Order. Martin Finnigan (Lead vocal & Guitar) fronted the critically acclaimed Mardrae for five years, who toured & played with variety of signed bands such as Travis & Toploader. We have recently we wrote the song 'Broken Youth' based on a local authors book which is now being made into a screen one drama on the BBC.
