born to a lower class life, i was brought up in the historical town of dumbarton, scotland a stones throw from the bright lit city of glasgow. i got my first guitar at 8 and never looked back. i was always the kid who sang at the school plays or masses and reckon that performing at that early age gave me the confidence i have today! along the way i picked up a few other instruments, bass, drums, violin and my curiosity for making music just grew until i started writing my own material at 12. i joined "dionysus" age 16 and left age 21 wiser and more motivated. i drifted from band to band until i joined a few friends in a jam at a local studio and "the sounds" were formed. but once again i felt band life wasn't for me and so i decided to go it alone! hope you like the result
