Coupe De Ville

They are a collective of musicians & songwriters hailing from Manchester. The band consists of Lowry (MC), Daddy Science (Vocals), Gibbo (Guitars), Weet (Bass), Nick (Drums) and DJ Wiseman (Turntablist). As with all things unique it is hard to categorise or put Coupe De Ville in a box. Together the lads have formulated a sound which exists in a space between Hip Hop & Rock, layered with elements dub & electronica. Theirs is an intuitive noise, driven by 6 very individual personalities, unstoppable momentum, friendship and pure talent. The music bursts from the speakers with vivid imagery and social consciousness. Their unique identity is imprinted onto every sound they make – it is unmistakeable. They are a refreshing antidote to the repetitive waves of skinny jeans guitar bands currently swamping the UK charts. A group of straight up, no nonsense northern lads who definitely walk it like they talk it, which is very much part of their charm.
