The Macclesfield three piece who have been tipped as Ones To Watch for 2010 by Classic Rock Magazine and supported by Metal Hammer, Kerrang, Xfm, Planet Rock and Rock Radio on this side of the Atlantic are planning on taking their acclaimed live show stateside soon and the timing could not be better. At the forefront of a pool of exciting new, young bands who’re putting their spin on, and mining the face of classic guitar driven history they have been compared, no less, to the deep, rich vintage rock n’ roll of Led Zeppelin with the fresh ears, hooks and bright riffs of Velvet Revolver and Biffy Clyro. The Virginmarys are proud to confirm they were selected as ‘Single of the Week’ on iTunes, both here and in the USA! After playing Download Festival and supporting Slash this summer, the band are about to tour with Skunk Anansie.
